The tablets are used to cure disorders in the stomach and oesophagus. It lowers the amount of acid that your stomach produces. It's used to treat acid-related stomach and intestinal problems such as acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, and a variety of other stomach conditions linked to excessive acid production. The tablet is also used to minimize stomach ulcers and acidity that might occur when taking painkillers for an extended period. It's a proton pump inhibitor, which is a type of medication (PPIs).
