About Of Domperidone 1mg/ml Syrup

Uzidom contains Domperidone, a prokinetic and anti-nausea medication that treats indigestion and stomach pain. The syrup is a popular medication for the treatment of gastric reflux disease and peptic ulcers (GERD). It reduces the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), also known as heartburn, and esophagitis, an inflammation of the food pipe lining. Domperidone lowers bloating, or the sensation of being full or indigestion, by speeding up the flow of food through the stomach and digestive tract. On the other hand, it successfully inhibits the function of a vomiting centre (chemoreceptor trigger zone, or CTZ), which is located in your brain and is in charge of causing nausea and vomiting.

Uses of Domperidone Syrup -

GERD, also known as gastroesophageal reflux disease, is a chronic (long-term) ailment that causes heartburn more frequently. It occurs when a muscle above the stomach relaxes excessively, allowing stomach contents to reflux into the mouth and oesophagus. Indigestion, which mostly affects the top of your stomach, can also cause additional symptoms including stomach pain, bloating, a feeling of fullness, etc. The action of substances in the body that can make you feel ill is blocked by domperidone syrup.
Elevating the tone of the lower end of the food pipe and obstructing acid input, aids in the treatment of this illness. It enhances the flow of food through your gut and stomach (intestine). This assists with appropriate food digestion and alleviates these symptoms. It is frequently used to stop nausea and vomiting that may be brought on by certain medications. To control nausea and vomiting, the syrup should be administered for the shortest time possible at the lowest effective dose. Additionally, it works well at preventing postoperative nausea and vomiting (in adults only).
